I've seen a huge number of variations in these over the years, although these seem to be american ... one I saw recently was similar to the middle top one, but was "sold into slavery" rather than "sold to the circus" ... maybe I should try and capture images instead of just chuckling to myself. . . Not my image : fair use & public information.
