SBR - The Goose

The Goose : 4-4wDM Built by Statfold in 2015 : wksno 9905 Statfold's home-built representation of the "galloping goose" / railcars that frequented many rural lines in America, these were usually adapted from road vehicles ... The Goose follows that tradition, being based on a Morris lorry chassis with a custom made body & roof-rack. The paint job, especially the cream stripe, reminds many people of American superhero comics. The Goose visited the 2017 Quirks & Curiosities Gala and worked back to back with the Ryam Sugar Company's No.1.
