Information board displayed with the living van [in lieu of an entry in the rally handbook]
To summarise - the van was built by Brayshaw's of Yeadon - near Leeds - in 1912 for Henry Miller, was passed to the Proctor family in the 1920s.
The Robson family undertook a four year restoration project during 1989 to 1993 {?}
The results of their work are stunning - and I'm writing as a person heavily involved in restoration of timber heritage vehicles.

I saw a lot of these in Poland. They seem to be what the British call "Living Vans" which were used traditionally by steam roller and traction engine crews during periods of peripatetic work. Travelling between work sites (farms) and staying for a week or two before moving on to the next, used as a form of mobile mess hut and combined with an overnight caravan.
