"William Riley" heading back to base.
[She went straight up the ALB base at the RNLI college, ready to be lifted out - probably tomorrow - onto her dedicated trailer. She's a full diary this year, can't recall where she was off to next, probably somewhere in the London area.]

Personally, I had quite a lot to do with retrieving and restoring her.

Lifeboat 416 next to ON594, these two are the oldest lifeboats present - built 1868 and 1909. The day's official activities are due to start at 11:00, but most of the crews are already beginning to arrive - and some people are visiting other lifeboats, as well as getting ready ...

It would appear that Wenda was previously Spray.
We will have to make sure that there is a record of that under the new finish.

Arriving for the 1600 call at "The Reedcutters" Cantley, as usual we had the reserved pub front mooring. However, the licensee had organized; a BBQ, live music entertainer and a raffle - all to raise funds for the RNLI. Well done!!
