A section of new timber will be used to complete the repair to this upright, now the damaged material has been removed.

The waist panel has had a couple of coats of white undercoat. The lower panel one of the brown, to begin building up the required number of layers and next coat of brown will cover the frames as well.

Lokking at the central bulkhead: the grooves / beading have been cleaned out, and some sanding has taken place.
