White outer petals and pale yellow trumpet but double doubled.
Sadly the weather is beating the daffodils down this year, even the ones growing in sheltered areas.

A decorative modern chandelier in the lobby / atrium of the Crowne Plaza hotel, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

{I should declare my interest, I used to work for a well-known firm of interior designers and still enjoy spotting such things - one this size would not have been a cheap item}.

For an unknown reason, the lobby of the Crowne Plaza hotel, Newcastle upon Tyne - where the HRA were holding their 2023 Autumn conference - was home to this Rolls Royce.

First snow [SW Northumberland] for 2023, which thawed quite quickly.
e2a - There was a little more during the next few days, which didn't thaw quickly.
Cumbria, and several other areas, had rather more.

We've managed a quick trim of the grass, which as it was over-long now looks very bleached. The final few daffodils have begun flowering at last, now we've has some sunshine.

The posts are only in a few inches, and are there to reduce the "drive-over" factor as the soil under the grass is very soft and easily rutted by vehicles. I'm actually standing just by a road junction that has been the site of several road accidents over the years we've lived here.

The "new" fence is weathering in well. The grass needs some attention but the daffodils are blooming.

The bees are going to be busy ...
