Having spliced in a replacement piece of timber Luke is triming the shape in more detail. Clamping slopes and curves is quite a challenge, so working with a larger section and then trimming to the final profile is the method used here.

Luke is getting stuck into some sanding as part of the cleaning stage of the work to one of the side modules from NSR127. Behind him our two previous trainees - both now "on the books" - are working on the final stages of the repairs to another side section from the carriage.
