From another [fairly] reliable source, which confirms that this is the Ratgoed Tramway horse and a rake of waggons loaded with finished slabs at the Aberllefenni Slate Works [dated April 1948]. With the travels now over, the van's body is tucked into the work bay, which has been cleared [bench etc moved] to accommodate it. The next phase will be to take off the planking and see what state the framework is in after 60-odd years. . . Not my image ; Fair Use & public information
