Dick Kerr petrol electric No.18 was built during 1918. The War department ordered two batches of these locomotives - in 1916 & 1918 - for service delivering supplies & munitions to the trenches in WW1. The access door is in the middle of the cab back plate. It is a very rare survivor, and comes from the collection of the late Peter Rampton.

Dick Kerr petrol electric No.18 was built during 1918. Normally worked back to back with a class-mate, for various reasons. It is a very rare survivor, and comes from the collection of the late Peter Rampton.
