Dates from 1972, in Swindon, England, also known as the magic roundabout. some info here ... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magic_Roundabout_(Swindon) I really think that they should re-design this. Although It may be perfectly clear at ground level for those who often pass by. Sent to me, so not my image.
