Very disappointed to find that some low-life toe-rag thief has removed the remembrance plaque from this stone. It listed the causalities lost from RAF Milfield during WW2. I know from another image that the plaque was stainless steel, not bronze, so the scrap value would have been fairly limited. I added a couple of white stones to the little "memorial" pile by the wreaths.

The grey waggon, B-49, as received in Haltwhistle. The arson damage is not very clear from this angle, other than looking at the lack of shadow underneath.
