"Nis Randers" of the DGzRS [German Sea Rescue Society] was the largest lifeboat at the festival, measuring 28m LOA and 120t displacement. Her two massive engines can push her to 24knots. Her home station is in the Darss Ort area of the German Southern Baltic coastline. Her daughter boat "Uwe" proves very useful for working in the shoal waters of this area.
