The pre-varnished sapele beadings are now being added over the oak faced plywood which forms the saloon side of the bulkhead separating the privy compartment. . Posted with Permission

One side panel and one door. The largest remaining piece of the "Big Saloon" about to be unloaded into the workshop. The white colour maybe limewash, along with non-original glass and other coloured paints.

The Headstocks in place on the GER Directors' Saloon, which had been restored for passenger carrying duties on Locomotion's demonstration line. Currently GER 63 - built 1912 - is at Pontypool Blaenavon after some travelling ...
