"Betty Huntbatch" and "Spirit Of Northumberland" leave Seaham North Dock after escorting the "George Elmy" back to her berth after her restoration. There was a short re-dedication / blessing from the skypilot (chaplin) and the band played the lifeboat hymn "Eternal Father" and quite a lot of other tunes.

The Tynemouth all-weather lifeboat - Severn class - 17-20. Quite some distance upriver about to collect some fuel and then make a short trip to off St Mary's Lighthouse, as an engine test. Top speed 25knots.
