The experimental beach launched lifeboat (FCB2) at Hoylake for testing (August 2011). Hoylake's new (2009?) lifeboat station is in the background.

Hoylake's old lifeboat "Thomas Corbett" (ON 862 - left Hoylake in 1974) has been rescued, and is due to be restored for display at the Hoylake Lifeboat Museum - which just happens to be in the old lifeboat station.
