This is a Harry sized stick - much more fun than the one we found first. You had to watch him with this sort of stick, he liked to try and catch the back of your knees.

Almost no waves - we don't have a picture of Harry body-surfing off Sandsend. He waited until there was a big enough wave to wash him ashore !

The bridge over the inlet to Kielder Water in the background featured in many lunchtime strolls for Ian and Harry. There is a little more water than usual in the creek.

One of the things that Harry likes to do is carry something into the house from the car. Even large bags of dried food, or cat litter, are not a problem ... but sometimes the only thing was a small bag!

Sitting outside the workshop, reading the afternoon breeze, for all the up to date news. It was quite a hot day, so he has just been hosed down to help him cool off.

Harry waiting for some help to get out the car. We are always a little careful, as the drive slopes away and the previous dog (Kim) managed to pull out a toenail when he was in a hurry one night.

This is the only image we have got with Harry carrying two mugs back to the kitchen for washing up. Something that was a regular feature, even if he did need someone to hang the handles over his big teeth. One cup he could pick up without any help!
