The final alignments of the dry fit; the lifted areas are the response of the flat teak to the curvature of the cabin roof underneath (and some rare bright sunshine).

View of the teak cabin roof, side and foredecks. The cabin roof has just been laid, sanded and then teak oiled. The original fore and side decks have been sanded and also teak oiled.

Looking along almost the full length of the fore-deck and cabin roof. Could be a little confusing to those expecting to see the typical painted plywood cabin roof normally seen on a Miller Fifer.

The edge of the main cabin roof, the areas of damage had allowed rain water access to places it should not have been. Areas of rot were the result.

The replacement inner skin (oak planks) and sapele roof sticks have just been fitted, they will now be varnished.
