The London Horse Bus has just about reached the entrance stop - having climbed the Pockerly bank. No passengers........we were asked to dismount, as this is a steep climb and it was the end of the day)

On the 7th April 2011, one of the resident Clydesdale horses "Bonnie" provided the motive power to move the Berriman's Chip Van across the Beamish site to the lean-to on the coal-fired fish and chip shop at the pit village.
