This fieldfare had an attitude problem, against all other birds. It was just about twilight and about to snow.

The fieldfare was causing mayhem, by beating up anything else attempting to feed from the supplies - so we put out another dish, just for him - and spread the other feeding stations out a bit more.

The replacement fatballs were the larger ones. This example was hung close to the window to try and stop it freezing, the bird (Great Tit) is having a quick break from feeding.

if you look closely at the centre of this image, there is a green net, which once held a fatball. The local blue tits have just had the last pieces.
