There'll be plenty of power to bowl along at a decent speed, whether that's the 600 or 650 version, both are very slow-revving engines - there used to be a joke about them firing every third telegraph pole.

Panther, Model 100. from 1958. 598cc single cylinder [twin exhaust] developing 23 bhp. Reg 794 LEV
Note; sloping engine and the distinct lack of a front down tube for the frame.
Most of these ended up powering outfits, they're a right handful as a solo 'bike, this one has spent time as an outfit, it has a steering damper.
