Black & White image of passengers grouped at Peel Station. By the costumes, it is probably carnival day in Douglas. Date of the image is pre-1912, from the carriages visible. B1 & A1 formed "Pairs" F62 in 1925. B19 & C1 formed "Pairs" F64 in1912, and the B19 underframe was reused for van G.15. Not my image : Fair Use [research] & public information.

BR - Green Oak headstock

This peice of green oak is 6" by 12" by 9 feet. It wil become a headstock for one of the two Bowes Railway Waggons, marking out has just started.
