Red "Pillar Box" in the Market Place at Whitehaven. The cast monogram is George VI who reigned between December 1936 and his death in February 1952. Note Also the cast "Post Office" who dealt with the Royal Mails until the idiotic partial privatisation in 2013, the government sold off the remaining 30% stake in 2015, which ended 499 years of public ownership.

It is quite well known that cats will happily sit in and play with boxes, carrier bags and crumpled paper. Beauty is no exception to this; however, she is slowly shredding this particular box, by chomping off bite-sized chunks. [at least when she's doing this, she's getting some exercise but not carving up the furniture etc].

Coffee Pot having a trundle along from the colliery heapstead back to the long shed, with the new tool box. The smoke effects were quite good, but they have made this picture a liitle greyer than intended.
