What used to be the YWCA "hostel" in Whitehaven was rebuilt into flats, a few years ago. They should be quite nice ones as they overlook the harbour, at least some of them are now inhabited ! . This block of flats were built 1935 to 1939, as a memorial to the local businessman & philanthropist Sir James Knott.
