There's at least a dozen horses gently grazing in this field, next to the car park at the Home of Rest for Old Horses, Douglas. A good proportion are ex-trammers, and certainly not shy !

Five more to ID ... working L->R don't know ? Jubilee - ex-trammer, born 2000 & retired 2012. John - ex-trammer born 1996 & retired 2016. don't know Fanny-Ann - Gypsy Cob mare, born 2000 & retired 2013.

A couple of the ex-trammers wandering over to see if we have any treats. I think the closer one is "Robert" - an ex-trammer, he's a Shire X {not sure what his other parent was}. He was born in 1994 and retired in 2018. Following on is "Mark" , another Shire X, who was born in 1994 and retired in 2018. He's also an ex-trammer.

Scrumpy Jack paid us a visit, as he was having these shafts opened out a little - they are a bit narrow for a Shire type like him. [His 'feathers' have just been trimmed, his field had got more than a bit muddy] We were hoping that he would be posed with Berriman's chip van, but the weather at the time was not suitable ... as in icy and muddy, at the time the van was ready.
