I'm wondering why the UK has such a large increase, especially when Germany was far more dependent on ru55ian gas, and has had to buy in much more expensive alternative supplies. Might it be something to do with a privatised / profit-driven industry, as well as brexit ??? . not my image ; fair use & public information

The main European gas pipeline routes were established by 2006. The more recent "Nordstream" routes come down under the Baltic Sea and into Germany - currently u/s due to sanctions [& sabotage] after ru55ia's invasion of Ukraine in Feb 2022.

Some European countries seem to have been very dependent on imported supplies of natural gas [methane] as well as other fossil fuels. . . not my image ; fair usae & public information
