Lovely [not] Yellow Warning form the UK's Met Office for Snow & Ice on Saturday 15th February 2025. I don't remember the road outside being gritted ! {Definitely damp & relatively feeling very cold this morning - yesterday, tipped ice from the bird bath onto the grass, this morning it was still there, completely unthawed}. e2a [on the 16th] definitely had the ice yesterday - very slippery & lasted all day, but no snow ... not my image ; fair use & public information

yup, it's still snowing ! from the amount accumulated, that snowfall has been going on for some time - about three to four hours, I think.

A cold and frosty sunrise, with a light dusting of snow added for the scenic touch. A very few minutes later and clouds had obscured the rising run.

snow on some rugurosa hedging - this will get trimmed back in the spring - the haws have been food and the bushes shelter for garden birds.
