A somewhat lost London Transport Routemaster starts the climb up to Minffordd, whilst passing the route of the Festiniog as the railway approaches Rhiw Plas bridge. . Actually, this preserved example is running a shuttle service alongside the Gala events operating on Ffestiniog Railway. It was proving quite popular during the afternoons, early mornings were much quieter.

This rather drew my eyes as we arrived at the Bala Lake Railway. Apparently, it lives here now.
