Lovely art & pixels on the theme of The Earth & her Moon ... Look closely at the one on the top left - the small branches are in the shape of Earth's continents. I had to look twice to see those details. All four images, to me at least, emphasis how small the earth is, and how everything is ecologically interlocked. . . . The high tides & onshore winds have built up the beach significantly, as well as bringing a load of driftwood ashore at Roker, mostly bits of branches washed down the River Wear during recent storms. This lump of tree stood out. I reckon that would make a good place to hang bags and towels.

Yesterday's unexpected snow is thawing in the sun.

snow accumulating on branches, looks quite artistic. It didn't take long for the wind and birds to knock much of it off.
