From another [fairly] reliable source, which confirms that this is the Ratgoed Tramway horse and a rake of waggons loaded with finished slabs at the Aberllefenni Slate Works [dated April 1948]. Note the beams and tensioned wires to hold the slabs on the waggon framework.

The Miller Fifer afloat in Scotland, taken some years ago, and well before her previous owner had had her lifted out for an overhaul.
Scanned print of a photograph of Emoyeni, probably "somewhere in Scotland" - likely to be just outside the sea lock for the western end of the Caledonian Canal.
