We had made a visit for sunday lunch as a treat for my 97 year old father, only to find that the main facilities were now behind a paywall and far too far for him to walk. So we settled for a sandwich, cake and hot drinks. We made up a "proper meal" for him later in the day, which he ate with evident enjoyment.

Planter with display of deep red dahlias. Stunning colour, must see if I can find out the variety.

Nice display of sedum varieties. In quite a sun trap, so a good solution to a dry and hot site.
