The Three Bridges of Devil's Bridge, Ceredigion
This is either a scan of an oldish postcard or an old print ?
[which has been sat on my hard drive for a long time].
The building dates for the bridges are usually given as 1100, 1753 and 1901 ...

The old AA (Automobile Association) sentry telephone box [ ID No. 289] at Devil's Bridge. One of only 18 still preserved in their original location, another 12 or so, plus another 8 of the RAC equivalents have been relocated to Museums and the like.

[These boxes - over 1000 - were dotted all over the UK, AA members had a key that gave them access to the interior and an emergency telephone - these days, modern mobile 'phones have largely superseded this system, and the AA itself is no longer a private members organisation but a commercial company offering roadside assistance, insurance for a price]

Running in board [station name board] at the upper terminus of the Vale of Rheidol Railway.
Devil's Bridge in Welsh is Pontarfynach.
I do like the design of the fence around the back of platform, and the flower beds are still making a good show of colour.

last time I saw this it had an extremely striking livery ... not the sober GWR one carried at present.
