The old AA (Automobile Association) sentry telephone box [ ID No. 289] at Devil's Bridge. One of only 18 still preserved in their original location, another 12 or so, plus another 8 of the RAC equivalents have been relocated to Museums and the like. www.sabre-roads.org.uk/wiki/index.php?title=Motoring_organisation_telephone#List_of_remaining_AA_boxes_in_Original_Locations [These boxes - over 1000 - were dotted all over the UK, AA members had a key that gave them access to the interior and an emergency telephone - these days, modern mobile 'phones have largely superseded this system, and the AA itself is no longer a private members organisation but a commercial company offering roadside assistance, insurance for a price]

Running in board [station name board] at the upper terminus of the Vale of Rheidol Railway. Devil's Bridge in Welsh is Pontarfynach. I do like the design of the fence around the back of platform, and the flower beds are still making a good show of colour.
