having laughed at that, I do know a couple of dogs that should have been allowed to adopt a pet of their own - both went all soft and gooey with youngsters or smaller animals. Can't see an older cat co-operating, although a kitten might ! . Not my Image : fair use & public enterianment

Jimmie the hamster, hoping the food bowl is about to be refilled - despite having hoarded most of what had been put into said bowl the previous day. He has just been out for some handling and then a run around the floor in his Ball. The latter was something with which he had plenty of fun and practiced enough to have sufficient skill to navigate around people and other obstacles. Taken through the top of his habitat in April 2017.
