Between the day's close of business and dinner / evening networking in 'spoons, we decided to have a look out and drove up to Llyn Ogwen. Sunlight on the hills.

Pulled into the open area next to the cattle grid, to allow oncoming vehicles to pass. Then I spotted the way the tree branch framed the fellside, so got out to snap the view !

The rather splendid building that houses the Norwich Model Boat Club, at the end of the relevant lake in Eaton Park. sadly, the ground floor windows are boarded over for security reasons. A couple of NMBC members were about to test a radio-controlled launch.

A small floating fountain used to aerate this pond, it is moored to stop it drifting around too much when operating. It runs for an hour or so every morning, mid-afternoon and early evening if it has been hot during the day. The affect on water quality and the wildlife has been quite noticeable, and there is a plan to get another one for the further reaches. The fence is to stop children falling in - there's about a meter drop to the water, and there is quite a lot of pondweed, plus water lilies.
