Former passenger brake van E1 behind the carriage shed, Douglas - during June 1967. The panelling and doors are in very poor condition. The underframe doesn't look too healthy, either ! A former "E" class brake van at Douglas, currently lettered as part of the "Loco Dept" rolling stock. Possibly E5 ? as no sign of a single door, or a ducket [E1 - the ex-MNR van, had replacement horizontal planking and a single door at what would be the nearer end in this image]. scanned image / webfind [ref research into the 1873 4-wheelers]. not my image : fair use & research / public information
