Just in the patch you can see, there are at least 100 molehills, which have popped up in the last couple of weeks. I'll need to spread those out a bit ... maybe fill in some of the ruts caused by idiots ignoring the "soft verge" signs ...

We've managed a quick trim of the grass, which as it was over-long now looks very bleached. The final few daffodils have begun flowering at last, now we've has some sunshine. . . The posts are only in a few inches, and are there to reduce the "drive-over" factor as the soil under the grass is very soft and easily rutted by vehicles. I'm actually standing just by a road junction that has been the site of several road accidents over the years we've lived here.

The "new" fence is weathering in well. The grass needs some attention but the daffodils are blooming.
