There have been a number of lighthouses on the Farne Islands since at least 1773, Trinity House now maintain the two lights still operational [ Farne & Longstone ] en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farne_Islands#Lighthouses Apologies that this isn't in really sharp focus, my little "point n shoot" camera really didn't like the view.

This is I think, LV-11, a Trinity House Lightship. [1951 to 1988] It was sold out of service in 1988, and looked in a rather sorry state of disrepair in 2008. By 2014 it had been refurbished and contained a restaurant "Tinto" Although it is not far away from the Maritime Museum, it is privately owned.
