The retired KNRM lifeboat "Koningin Juliana" moves off her berth.
.
From this angle, her wheelhouse looks very much like a submarine sail [conning tower] ... it is much smaller than that of "Johanna Louise".

"Riet en Jan van Wijk" moves upstream to the "display" area, opposite the watching crowds.
There is at least one modern RNLI lifeboat keeping a couple of spectating pleasure boats out of the display area,

The retired KNRM lifeboat "Johanna Louisa" [owner listed as KNZHRM]
She has a flybridge and her wheelhouse is much larger than that on "Koningin Juliana"

Sitting on the foredeck of "Annie Blaker" we have watched the current RNLI fleet pass in review and show off to the crowds on the quayside, before heading off on a circuit of Poole Harbour. Now it is the turn of the visiting lifeboats - a mixture of current and retired vessels, including the non-British examples.
Starting with "Antoinette" from the current KNRM fleet [she's an Arrie Vesser 18,8m Rigid inflatable, stationed at Stellendam]

This is the "Riet en Jan van Wijk" built in 2021, she is the first of the 11.4m "Van Wijk" class, and is currently stationed in the KNRM's reserve fleet.

The ex-KNRM lifeboat "Koningin Juliana" is mostly flush decked, apart from the wave guard on the bows, given that she is designed for working in the winter storm conditions of the North Sea. Her streamlined wheelhouse looks somewhat like the sail [conning tower] on a submarine for the same reason.

KNRM "Koningin Juliana" ["Queen Juliana"] entered service at Hoek van Holland [Hook of Holland] in 1963. Many of her missions were medical evacuations of sick and injured sailors. She would have been replaced by a "fast lifeboat" in the late 1980 / early 1990s.
The lifeboat station at Hook of Holland had a gold medal service in 1985, that was performed by the lifeboat "President Jan Lels"
I was at Rotterdam in 2008 with my [now late] father, and talked myself aboard her for a look around.

KNRM "Johanna Louisa" - she has her "jumping net" deployed.
New in 1968, served at Ijmuiden until replaced by a "fast boat" in 1993.
Sadly, no other details.

"William Riley" is pulling around to her berth, and the new position reveals the very front of "Koningin Juliana", a retired Dutch lifeboat.

Contrasts between "William Riley" [1909 Rubie self-righting rowing], and the modern lifeboats.
To the left is an Atlantic 85 [B-855 'Eric C Guest'] and to the right a pair of KNRM [Dutch] boats. The smaller one reminds me of a Brede.
Will update when I can ID the two Dutch boats. OK, got the data ...
Smaller one is the "Riet en Jan Wijk" and the larger is "Antoinette"

CAS taking a close interest in the grain elevator - before his retirement he was involved with designing several plants of this type, but not one on a barge.
In the meantime, I'm about to have a look on the lifeboat.

Koningin Juliana. [KNRM] in the Haven (Historic Harbour) Rotterdam.
She's the lifeboat from Hoek van Holland (1965 - 1991), and is now retired, although she does go to sea sometimes.
