Shunting carriages [SVR, Kidderminster] ... the destination board reads Portmadoc, which is the angllcised spelling of Porthmadog. This caught my eye as I know Port rather more than moderately well, having been quite involved with the Festiniog Railway in the past.

60532 stands ready at Kidderminster Town, Severn Valley Railway after a 22-year hiatus, since she last steamed at the North York Moors Railway. This "Whistler" is D306, built in October 1960. Wheel arrangement is 1Co-Co1 : TOPS list as 40 106, which was the last one in BR green livery. Named "Atlantic Conveyor" in preservation, seen here as a visitor to the SVR's Kidderminster diesel MPD. [not the best focus, apologies]

LMS 2886, a 6-wheeled gangwayed brake, built 1932 at Wolverton. [later numbered as 32919] Currently, scotched and tucked into the end of one of the tracks at Kidderminster Station.
