The Manx Northern Railway headquarters in Ramsey, taken in 1955.
Sadly, after the MNR - the Northern Route - was finally closed, this building was demolished and an industrial bakery built. [Which was itself closed in 2023].
Not my image : fair use & public information.

View from the MER of Ramsey's piers.
Queen's Pier - there's a campaign to rebuild this, as the timber deck is suffering from the ravages of time and bad weather.

MER Car 41 - a toastrack trailer. The shutters are down because the weather was wet and windy.
Note: Trailer 41 was built in 1930 by English Electric as a replacement for a vehicle lost in the shed fire. It has 44 seats, shutters and carries the red, white & teak livery.

Car "21" & toastrack trailer "41" in the Ramsey terminus of the Manx Electric Railway.
[this location is just short of the original station, you can see the poles in the background]
{In 2023, the MER reinstated services to the original terminus}
Note : Car 21 is classed as a 'winter saloon' with 48 seats and was built in 1899 by Milnes. Carries the green & white "nationalisation" livery - which is not the most popular.
