Flying proudly from the mizzen mast on the restored Lucy Lavers, she is also entitled to the Dunkirk Little Ships house flag. (ON 832 - Aldeburgh No2 Station - but was in the relief fleet when stationed at Wells-next-the-Sea)

When Whitehaven's sea lock is open on "free flow" the bridge over the inner gate is not available to pedestrians. The Marina ran a competition for local schoolchildren to design a flag for the lock keepers to fly during "free flow".

Playing dominoes with my almost 97 year old father - and he wins quite often ! - this particular game ended in a technical draw, as all pieces have been played. (We play with an odd set of made-up rules that suit our circumstances and my father's memory). There is an Esperanto flag on the mug of tea.
