As we travelled back from the HRA meeting in Birmingham last week [10th & 11th March 2023], the Met Office were extending the areas covered by warnings of snow and ice. Finally, on the Tuesday afternoon, it snowed in earnest and eventually pitched / settled ... there were some quite big flakes falling by the time I remembered to capture some images.

This grows as ground cover in our wild wood area. It may be a cultivar of the wild plant Lungwort "Pulmonaria officinalis" but the garden varities usually have blue or purple flowers ...

First of the 2015 amaryllis flowers - almost pure white and four flowers on the one stalk. A secondary bulb, still very small, has one leaf growing.
