Standard design for a combined hat, coat and umbrella stand. This is the Great Western Railway version of the design. mainly used in offices.

GWR liveried Scammell "Scarab" or "mechanical horse". These little three wheel vehicles were used for local deliveries, replacing the ton and quarter-toner horse-drawn parcel vans. The logo for British Railways between 1948 and 1956. This example is on the tender of 6000 at STEAM. (The GWR loco "King George V"). Nicknamed the "Cyling Lion" I prefer this to all the later logos, although the simple version of the "hadaway comeback" arrows used from 1965 are simple, clear and symbolic.
