a couple of ways for the track workers to move about. The enclosed one is a type of Wickham trolley It looks to be an "A38W" PW inspection trolley, similar to one ("A43W") seen at Royal Deeside Railway.

GWR liveried Scammell "Scarab" or "mechanical horse". These little three wheel vehicles were used for local deliveries, replacing the ton and quarter-toner horse-drawn parcel vans. These little units were capable of hauling three or six ton trailers, depending on the engine version.

The logo for British Railways between 1948 and 1956. This example is on the tender of 6000 at STEAM. (The GWR loco "King George V").
Nicknamed the "Cyling Lion" I prefer this to all the later logos, although the simple version of the "hadaway comeback" arrows used from 1965 are simple, clear and symbolic.
