Closer view of the bows, much of what you can see is "slime" - apart from the clumps of "tube worm" on the keel. This animal is normally something of a pest at Whitehaven for boats - or pontoons - that stay afloat for long periods. However, I think that these may have died after the water went brown in November last year.
