Potted example of Houttinya cordata "Pied Piper" - intended for ground cover under some trees, once established. I have been warned that it will almost certainly attempt to take-over the world unless closely confined ! [Hence, the pot - and the intended location is an isolated bed under some trees].

This grows as ground cover in our wild wood area. It may be a cultivar of the wild plant Lungwort "Pulmonaria officinalis" but the garden varities usually have blue or purple flowers ...

Plenty of this variegated variety "Galeobdolon" around, usually gives denser coverage than found here.
