The sole remaining original item of rolling stock from the Southwold Railway. It is certainly painted a striking colour, although it has a roofed shelter, extra paint should help protect this vehicle.

The EATM use an old tram body as an information point. It includes several image displays. One in particular caught my attention - see note - as I had a good deal to do with building the cab during the restoration.

Newcastle upon Tyne trolleybus. The yellow livery is very similar to that of the later Tyne & Wear Passenger Transport Executive.

Un-restored / original Co-operative Dairy "Milk Float" or maybe a baker's van

The enclosed VAMBAC single-decker No. 11 built in 1939, from Blackpool Corporation. Currently operational and based at Carlton Colville, it has visited Beamish Museum.

Three working exhibits at the East Anglia Transport Museum - a trolleybus and two trams - were providing visitors with short rides around the site. L -> R they are LT 1858 (1930) ; Blackpool 159 (1937) and Maidstone 52 (LCD 52) trolleybus from 1953. Standing here at the Chapel Road terminus, whilst the next group of passengers climb aboard. Rides on the trams, trolley- and motor buses plus the narrow gauge railway are all free once you've paid to get in. All the volunteer operating staff are well-trained (tested) and very friendly.

Ashton under Lyne Corporation Transport. : Reg No. YTE 826; running as their Fleet No. 89. Parked on the road at Carlton Colville. (The yellow one in front is from Newcastle Transport - the livery is very similar to that of the later Tyne & Wear Passenger Transport Executive)

DX 4602 viewed from the side. The Armstrong Whitworth steam roller at EATM. Also named "Stormer" The deep blue livery is stunning, and a welcome change from the greens of the more common Aveling & Porters, Marshalls, and Burrells.
