Signwriting details - The "Empty to Pinnox Junc" is authentic for Chatterley Whitfield waggons, as that was where the private colliery line met the national rail network [LMSR]. The numbers are the tare [ie empty] weight in Tons : cwt [hundredweights] : quarters ... So ... Six tons 7 cwt 2 quarters [so, in round figures, about 6 and a third tons in old money] Not my Image : fair use & public information ms 9th feb 2023
