One slightly crisped PalVan leaving Moor Road, Leeds by low-loader for Haltwhistle to be repaired by Stanegate Restorations.
The bogies [can be seen fore and aft of the PalVan] are from a totally un-related project, but are also coming for delivery to our workshops.

Using 'long extensions' the two forklifts have raised 228 enough that the waggon can be extracted.

The low loader has brought 971, now the two forklifts have got the waggon's remains up high enough that the low loader can draw forward, out of the way.

The Low-loader (Webster's Haulage) and the crane (Reeds Bray) parked up ready for the 0800 start, the briefing and cuppas first.

Combination of packing and strops to secure the boat onto the low-loader. The crane strops will stay for now. The other job will be to slide the main mast onto the trailer.

Boat fully secured and almost ready to depart. The crane and lifting kit has been packed away, the slinger and operator are having a well earned PNB - personal needs break - mainly food and cuppas.

"Midnight" turned up on our site at the beginning of June, stayed for little while as the crew had a well-deserved break.
"Midnight" is a Fowler R3 8nhp Road Locomotive (Works no - 14893) built in Leeds during 1917. RegNo CT 6888.
