Bit of confusion with the other vehicles as the support car pulls off the verge to continue towards Greenhead.

The last couple of vans tag along to the end, just after they passed here, the road was re-opened and the small group of on-lookers dispersed. Final job was collecting up the signs and traffic cones, carried out by the crew of the van parked up at the closed junction.

I think these are the last cyclists - I understand that one of them may have had a puncture. Some of the cars got very close to him - and each other, so it was just as well the road was closed.

The small leading group of five had broken away earlier, and were now several minutes ahead of the poleton.
