Flowers ! [L->R] white Rowan / mountain ash {Sorbus sp} pinkish Apple, these are Bramley {a decent cooking apple and we usually have a glut and many windfalls} and in the foreground a pink clematis {specific variety not known, it came with the house !}.

Very large cooking apple - probably a "Bramley" - measuring about 5" across. Most of these are collected as windfalls - the tree is around 80 years old and quite tall, which means the fruiting branches are so far off the ground it is difficult to harvest the apples safely. Variety is unknown, but judging by how they cook I'm pretty sure of my identification.

Plenty of apple blossom ! Hopefully we'll have a good crop [these are cookers, probably Bramley, from the way they behave / age of the tree]
