The upcoming problems for the world [not just humans] ... We have Covid-19 to deal with - ok, now there's vaccines & other things to cure / treat this. But it is NOT over yet. Then there's an economic crisis of various dimensions following on - and even overtaking ! Last of all, but - in my view - the most important in the longer term and actually requiring immediate, if not sooner, action is Climate Change. If we - on the whole world scale, as well as individuals - do not deal properly with the man-made causes of climate change, then there will be serious problems ahead. . . . Another way of looking at temperature rise scenarios, from fully sustainable [at or near net zero carbon], to doing almost nothing to reduce carbon emissions- ie continuing to depend on fossil fuel consumption.
